Enhancing User Experience By Adding Admin User Guide and FAQs with Hugo Pages
During my internship at Octave Holdings and Investments, I had the opportunity to
work on an exciting project that involved enhancing the website’s functionality for
administrators. My main focus was to add an Admin User Guide and Frequently
Asked Questions (FAQs) section to the website using Hugo Pages and throughout
this project, I had the invaluable guidance of Soumya Chaudhary and Sri Harsha. In
this blog post, I would like to share my experience and the impact of this project on
improving the user experience for administrators.
I started the project and as I did, I quickly realized the critical role that documentation
plays in empowering administrators. Clear and comprehensive documentation allows
administrators to navigate the website with confidence, perform their tasks efficiently,
and minimize the need for support requests. By adding an Admin User Guide and
FAQs, we aimed to provide a centralized resource that would equip administrators
with the necessary knowledge and tools to manage the website effectively.
Hugo, a static site generator, proved to be an excellent choice for implementing the
Admin User Guide and FAQs. Its flexibility and extensibility allowed me to create a
user-friendly interface that seamlessly integrated with the existing website. Hugo
Pages enabled me to organize content hierarchically, making it easy for
administrators to find the information they needed. The templating system and
content management capabilities of Hugo made it straightforward to create and
update pages, ensuring the documentation remained up-to-date and relevant.
